Team Program

The Tennis Team program provides the opportunity for children to play in a more competitive environment with players from our club and as part of an InterClub league with other Southtown clubs (OPCC, Hickory Hill, Wanakah).

Eagle Ridge has compiled an impressive record over the past 30+ years with 24 straight Inter Club Championships; a record that may never be broken in InterClub play. The teams have been successful for many reasons, including our high-quality programming and instruction, coaching that promotes a fun environment, friendly competition and sportsmanship, and players who are committed to improving their skill level. 

Divisions are grouped by age: 10 and Under (Green Ball- one step below the traditional yellow ball), 11-12, 13-14, and 15-16. 

The program emphasizes equal play opportunity and rotation for all team members. Players can expect to play a minimum of 4-6 regular season InterClub matches and compete in both the ERRA Club Championships and the InterClub Championships. The program includes tennis team practices and/or match play with our team on days when no InterClub matches are scheduled. Players are included in a club challenge ladder which helps to promote and increase match play within our club and allows coaches to make line-up decisions as needed.

The team practices & plays matches on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons.

Fees

Tennis Team is $240.00 per child (includes Team T-shirt)

Team Practice Schedule

Practice will be held from Monday, June 30th through Friday, August 15th and is held on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday unless there is a match.

• 10 & Under..............................................12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

• 11-12 yrs of age.......................................11:00 AM - 12:00PM

• 13-14 and 15-16 yrs of age................. 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
